Calm Before The Storm
Last week Cebu was hit with storm signal # 2. There was a 2-hour black out and really bad weather conditions with heavy rain and unrelenting strong winds. The week before that though, we were blessed with cloudy afternoons and cold evenings..the perfect weather for a humid, tropical country. That was what weathermen call "the calm before the storm". Yup, it's the period when everything is sunny, bright, worry-free. The time when you can say "hakuna matata"! I had that period. I felt like I had it all. Work was easy, friends were enjoyable, money was inconsequential, and the family brought comfort. I had it all, huh? Yup, hakuna matata!! Then storm came. Everything is a mess. Got a hectic new schedule with work, 2 friends are not talking to me (for reasons unknown), money is a stretch just to make ends meet and the family.. the family is bringing me constant headaches which no pain killer can seem to take away. When it rains it really pours. My life, what can I say, right now I feel like my life is in the drain. Oh, the fact that I just learned that my ex has a new gf doesn't even matter no more. Haha, not that it should of course. I mean the fact that I learned about it at the time that he had dengue is really unnerving and hilarious. Oh well, life does have a way of bringing you to certain twists and turns and leave you feeling clueless, huh? I'm sure thankful for those who are there to hold me together though.. If not for you I would've fallen apart. Thank you. =)
