Guilty as Charged

Just had the best week after a loong year and I live to blog about it.. =)

March 31..Off I went to Bohol
-I went to Bohol all by my 22 yr. old self and being the klutz that i am, i got lost! i got off at pier 3 and walked all the way to pier 4 under the hot 1 pm sun. totally clueless, i had to fill out 3 forms before i finally get it right to buy a ticket. i got to bohol pier and froze in the parking lot coz i dunno how to get to the resort.

April 1-2... At Bohol Bee Farm
-Ever heard of bougainvilla salad? Ever eaten a cake with gumamela on it? Ever had "burnt" coffee? 'twas really weird i tell you but somewhat edible..delicious to a point. Haha! =) That was the bee farm theme...everything organic; from soap to house decors to food.
-Oh, main reason i went to bohol (aside from kiat) is to attend Rue's wedding. 'twas a beautiful wedding... Funny... Bloopers... but it was beautiful. Hehe =) Just that Rue's 24 and she's married. I'm 22 and i got lost..at the pier! How life can be so different to some people, i don't get.

April 3... Back @ home with Purigit...(Organic Food Poisoning)
-I guess i had too much toxins in my body that the organic diet of bee farm finally took effect. Thank goodness it had it's presence known when i was home! I took a break from all my kiat and had purigit all day long. the bowl was my new best friend. =) Whew, it was a looong, wet day!

April 4...
-Set plans to go to Bantayan Island. Got pressured with the tent situation with Andy and Clint initially going.. then got an Olympia surprise...Andy is not allowed to go... Haha =) too bad... Oh well, i was all set: emotionally and mentally. I wanted to get out of the city so badly i didn't care if it was just Ipay and I...=(
-Went out with Rox.. our last meal together before i set off to Bantayan. Yummy, yummy, baked tahong thanks to AAs grill. Hmm... =)

April 5... Battled with Emperador and Lost..
-'Twas a day of good calls. Chose the "safer" bus. Found some guys to set up our tent. Found some football companions. Had a "full" and enjoyable dinner.. A day of good calls... =) Then out of nowhere good turned to bad.
-Hung out with the guys and joined the drinking session. Im not much of a drinker and had no experience with Emperador at all. Taste was so bitter it cannot be washed down by Coke. Burnt my throat and settled warmly in my stomach. after about 3 - 4 shots, i was so good i can actually feel the fish i had for dinner coming back up. Turned around, found a space and joined the pile of bodies victimized by the potent drink. Then came blissful sleep and temporary amnesia.

April 6... Realizations and new Aquaintances
-Woke up to the hot glare of the morning sun. Got up and felt the world spin off its axis. Lied back down...noticed the hole on our tent apparently caused by some unknown drunk who stumbled on our tent the night before. Felt the coarse grain of sand all over me. Apparently i've been crawling on the sand on my drunken stupor. Smelled of puke and found me lying right next to it. Ew! Cleaned up my mess, temporarily fixed our tent and got my head into order. Swore off Emperador for as long as i draw a breath!
-Apparently, hang-overs are of no consequence in Bantayan. Barely able to walk up straight, the party starts again. 'Twas some party alright and the specialty of the night is Tanduay. Ew, i was still able to feel taste the Emperador of the previous night. Tagay kept coming around no matter how hard and convincing you refuse and so i left the party and took my new best friend, Mr. Flashlight, back to the tent to while the night away.
-Then i got an unexpected caller from some unexpected guy. Spent the night talking to him. He's really young, around 18 and pretty good looking (from what moonlight can tell me) and confident and shy at the same time. One moment he's sitting on the sand across from me, the next he's sitting in the tent beside me... Hmm... but all we did was talk. Pure fun, no monkey business. Haha =) 'twas fun while it lasted but as the saying goes, "What happens in Bantayan, stays in Bantayan."and believe me, it would be best for all concerned to stick to it.

April 7... So Long Farewell I Hate to Say Goodbye
-Woke up to one last radiant sunrise. Walked along the beach one last time. Inhaled one last fresh air. And said farewell to momentary bliss.
