"If I can't see You, You can't see Me."
The concept behind the act of PEEK-A-BOO. I remember when I was younger and I do something wrong or when I piss my parents off, I cover my face with my hands fully believing that if I can't see them, then they can't see me. Illogical of course, but acceptable coz after all I was a kid.
Then I grew up but I never seem to grow out of it. The other day, I was crossing the street from work when I was almost hit by a car. Uhm, it was my fault, I think (not really a master "crosser") so I was embarrassed and I did the PEEK-A-BOO. The guy in the car laughed at me. It was unnerving.
Then I got to think of all my childish mannerisms... I still thumbsuck if I find it hard to sleep. I bite my nails when I'm nervous. I find it hard to sleep without "tanday". I tend to pout. I stick my tongue out like this =P. Etc, etc... Good grief, I am childish!
Well, so is Seth Cohen and he's adorable, so what?! =P
