It's funny how many things you can learn from this job. I just had this guest who has a TIVO box. Hmm, TIVO? What in God's blessed earth is a TIVO?!

Hmm, to put it in layman's terms a TIVO would be the best thing that would ever happen to a TV bum, a movie buff and a music lover. With TIVO you can download all your favorite shows, movies and music anytime...anywhere! Now wouldn't I just looovvvee that... But of course, like everything else, it comes with a price. The TIVO package starts at $16.95 per month, that would be close to a thousand pesos. Of course to use your TIVO it has to be connected to a phone or broadband internet so I guess another thousand per month. 2-3 thousand pesos for unlimited movie marathons and total bliss - why not?! Well before I start dreaming of owning one, it's currently available only in the States and Canada... Bummer!
