Just came from my god-daughter's baptism... Whew! I was 5 minutes late for work and that broke my chances for attendance bonus but i'll let it go as my first sacrifice for my new bb girl. Hehe =) ain't she cute?
She is cute. Actually looking back, all of us who attended the baptism were cute. We were a bunch of kids caught in this "adult" event. It was like playing house only real. We were fresh out of college, none the wiser... and one of us is a dad. They handled it pretty well, I give them that. I'm not sure I could've handled it any better if I were on their place. Heck, I don't know how to handle ME any better, are you kidding me???
Ok so I can't handle a kid as of yet. But holding Alex got me into thinking.. if this kid was thrust into my arms without warning, would I have taken it? YES. Yes, I would've but I know that me and my life would never be the same. I guess it's a Gilmore Girls kind of thing, huh? You make that decision then you stick to it. But if the choice comes in a cute little bundle of joy.. then that would make it a lot easier, wouldn't it?
