The SuperBowl

Last Saturday's event was SUPERBOWL -- the final stretch of this season's 8 on 8 football league. As always, football made my week complete. But lately football has somehow become an accident prone area for me. Since we had beach football in Cebu beach club wherein i got a significant cut on my head, I bumped my head on a fast run and now I'm sporting a very swollen left side of my face with rather obvious bruises on it. Haha! If mama were home, I would've had a very long sermon by now...

Anyway, we played against the MOBs for the consolation finals and I tell you, we could've won that game. But we didn't. It was still my best game this season though. I got to score a touchdown -- now that touchdown was amazing coz you see, it was a QB run and i did cover some yards... =D The sad thing about that game though would be some of our key players didn't show up. We really needed them there you know, and speaking for the team, it does hit some nerve when you know you could've had it had they been there...

Now the team is going through major issues and I think we need a major overhaul. Kyle has volunteered to sponsor us and manage our team with the agreement that we can have our say on some matters of course. I think I'm going to take the offer. I will see to it that we will have a more disciplined but still closely knit team. It is such a waste coz the team actually has a very good potential to make it big. After all if the Flamingos were able to beat the Sharks after 3 or 4 seasons, then it's about time the Chargers get a shot at the Superbowl, don't you think??
