Bantayan was amazing! We (Lyne, Ampong, Ian & moi) left Wednesday noon and arrived in Sta. Fe, Bantayan around 6 pm. Whew, it was a long trip. But we enjoyed every moment of it more so because I've never been that far north before. We rode a ferry from Hagnaya to Sta. Fe and though I've never been sea sick before, it wasn't a comfortable ride especially knowing I can't swim and found no life jackets in sight!
It was dark when we arrived at Sugar Beach and we were bone tired, hungry and dirty but we still needed to set up the tent and find a place to eat... At around 9 pm, we were ready to sleep--so much for insomiacs! But due to circumstances, we didn't get to sleep 'til 3 am. We had to wake up early the next morning because the heat of the sun was unbearable! The tent felt like a turbo broiler!!! Then we had football all day and dipped in the water in the afternoon. The routine was pretty much the same our whole stay but every moment was memorable. Especially the times when we had to hunt for food. Coz everything was so costly, we needed to find alternative measures so we could eat... Though it was hard and we were half starving, it was fun, fun, fun! We call it, SURVIVOR BANTAYAN and all of us came home as millionaires.
When I came home, i found out i failed my removal. It was devastating. No matter how i prepared myself for the possible outcome, i was still devastated. I had to talk to my family and i had to deal with it all over again. Then a friend called and said another removal exam was in order. After practice, i went to have breakfast at Ampong's house, studied a bit of Time Constant and headed off to the exam. Ampong and I arrived late but we finished the exam on time. It was amazing, i passed! Haha!
This is my most academically trying semester. I was dropped from my English class, got myself re-admitted then failed to show up during the defense then got to re-defense all by myself... whew, my most memorable English ever! Then there was History when I was absent in most exams before the midterms so I had to haul ass and read the whole Rizal book--which i liked, by the way. The Artajo class where i thought i failed for sure coz he gave this out-of-nowhere exams which i didn't understand at all but surprisingly i passed too. And of course, Control Systems--the most memorable of them all. Two removals... Whew!
Now that summer is here i will take up three minors. I think i'm having English 23 trauma. I wish never to go through that again... Oh pls Lord! I'm going to OJT in school too. Hmm, this will be one long summer. With football season coming up, this will be longer still... I'm looking forward to it though. It's bound to be fun!
